Here’s What Made The Biggest Difference

Think about the last time you brought someone new into your business. You didn't hand them a task on day one and expect it to come back perfect.

You took time upfront. Here's how we do things. Here's what good looks like. Here's what we never say.

Building a Claude skill works exactly the same way.

Claude has access to more knowledge than any specialist you could hire. But on day one, it has no idea how you specifically do things. It doesn't know your standards. It doesn't know your voice. It doesn't know the difference between a caption you'd post and one that makes you cringe.

That's what the training is for.

And there are two things that make the difference between a skill that works and one that keeps missing.

Show it what good looks like.

Give Claude actual examples. Three emails that sound exactly like you. A caption that landed. Not a description of your tone — the real thing. Examples always outperform descriptions.

Show it what bad looks like.

Once it understands what good looks like, give it the constraints. Never use the word "synergy." Never use the 🚀 emoji. Never open with "In today's fast-paced world."

AI does its best work with guardrails.
