AI FOR HER Issue #43
Hi {{first_name|gorgeous}},
This week my newsletter subscriber count grew by one 🧟♀
I lost a couple, gained a couple. Net total: one new subscriber.
Long-term growth strategies can feel impossible until they finally reach a point of momentum.
And when you're in the thick of it: posting 3x a day and not seeing results, watching your cat meme go viral to a bunch of mediocre men in Dubai who would never buy from you, asking people to help you fix the algorithm…it’s exhausting 😫
When your newsletter grows as slowly as mine has been, it can undermine your confidence in your work.
Because you're not feeling the success or the momentum you should be feeling. You're still chasing after every client, or the clients who do show up are such hard work because they're not the right fit, instead of having the right clients show up already ready to buy from you.
I've been there. I'm in the midst of "there" right now.
But this week, something moved differently 😅
The number of summit applications for She's In Demand increased by 450%.
That's not a fluke.
That's what happens when your visibility strategy actually creates momentum (instead of hoping the algorithm does it for you.)
She's In Demand: The Summit is coming this October. The entire mission is to share a lineup of brilliant women who cracked the code on visibility strategies that take you from chasing clients to becoming the woman clients chase.
As someone who's launched six summits, I'm kicking myself for not doing another one sooner 🤦♀
But there's a reason I didn't.
In January of 2025 I launched the AI For Her Summit. I had a list of exactly zero. By the end of the five-day summit I had more than 1,000 new people on my email list.
I launched that summit in about eight weeks (not recommended, you really need 3-4 months to do it right). In just two months my list jumped from zero to 1,000.
So why did I abandon summits to chase new visibility strategies that might work instead of repeating the strategy I already know works?
Because summits take work.
Back then I knew nothing about AI. I had no team. I single-handedly launched a summit by myself, which put me into a state of burnout 🛌
Every time I've launched a summit, I felt like I needed a two-year break before I was ready to do one again.
But since January 2025 I've become incredibly AI savvy.
And the first app I decided to build was one to make summits feel easy instead of impossible.
The app handles the planning, the strategy, the timeline, the assets: all the moving parts that used to take months and leave me burned out. Now it takes weeks and I'm not exhausted.

Look at that gorgeous, smart app 🤩
I'm using my own app to launch She's In Demand: The Summit in real time.
And soon it will be available to you to launch your own summit.
But first, I'm still filling the speaker lineup.
There are three days left to apply. Applications close this Friday, August 21.
Every application I've read makes me so incredibly excited for this summit. Brilliant women who have cracked the code on how to get clients to chase you have raised their hand to share their expertise with you.
If you are one of those women, this stage was made for you.
If you want to learn from those women, to scale your business and visibility with ease, shine a spotlight on your brilliance and your incredible work, and get clients chasing you instead of the other way around, stay tuned.
This event is going to be epic 🎉
In the meantime:
THE RECEIPTS (I'm tracking these numbers in public every week)
Newsletter subscribers: 270 (+1)
Instagram followers: 148 (+2)
Summit speaker applications: 11 (+9)
See that? One of those numbers is moving completely differently than the others.
That's momentum.
xx
Emily

HER POWER BRIEF
💄 Snitches get stitches 😵 Unless you're on LinkedIn, which just added a "seems like AI slop" report button. The platform also demoted its own “enhance your post” AI post-writer to a lowly spellchecker. So we’ll see how long that lasts 🤷
💄 Google's AI art can now ditch the name tag. A new toggle strips the visible watermark off images, video, and music made in Gemini, while the invisible SynthID mark stays baked in. Your visuals go incognito. The pixels keep receipts 👀
💄 Women hold just 13 percent of AI's executive jobs. LinkedIn counted across 27 countries, and the jobs we're missing out on pay a lot: a typical AI posting advertises $177,000, double a regular role. Tech built its best-paying club yet, and women aren’t invited 😡
💄 OpenAI just got 14x faster, for the chosen few. The new Ultrafast mode runs GPT-5.6 at more than a page of text per second, in an invite-only preview for enterprise customers while "capacity grows." The rest of us will plod along with Fable 🐌
