I just got a new laptop, which means I can finally start using Claude Cowork 🥳
I love my old laptop (anyone else give positive reinforcement to your computer? Car? LLM? Just me? “You’re doing such a good job, sweetie!” 😂 )
But I could no longer update the OS to download Claude Cowork.
Now I can.
I’ve been deep into Claude skills. An absolute game-changer, but I know I’ve only been scratching the surface of what’s possible.
For the next few weeks I’ll be taking a deep dive into what’s possible now that I have CoWork and a completely different level of capability. Agents running on my desktop. Tasks executing while I walk away. Workflows I used to spend hours on, done before my coffee gets cold.
And then I’ll be teaching a masterclass on Claude to share it all with you.

Government backtracks on AI and copyright after outcry

The UK government's original plan was simple: let AI companies train on copyrighted songs, books, and artworks by default and put the burden on creators to opt out.
Paul McCartney, Elton John, Dua Lipa, Coldplay, Richard Curtis, and Ian McKellen were among those who pushed back.
Technology Secretary Liz Kendall confirmed the government no longer favors that approach. "We have listened," she said. The plan is shelved. What replaces it is still unclear but the opt-out default is has been rolled back.

MCP fixes that. It lets Claude plug directly into your other tools and go get what it needs — no tab-switching, no you in the middle.
